I have a Bachelor of Arts (Honours) in Communication Studies and Spanish from Wilfrid Laurier University. After graduating in 2006 I was accepted into the Joint Program in Communication and Culture offered by York and Ryerson Universities. During my second year I was awarded a SSHRC scholarship for the research related to my thesis which looked at textual representations of gay men’s bodies.
In September 2008 I began my PhD in the School of Communication at Simon Fraser University. My doctoral research looks at 2nd generation Canadians and public policy.
If you are interested in learning more about my current research please check out Current Projects. If you want to know more about my MA thesis and the related projects please check out Past Projects. Otherwise feel free to browse the site or drop me a line.
